I've been getting a few questions lately and I wanted to answer them and let you know about our next update!

Firstly, if it wasn't already obvious, the game has moved links on itchio! This is due to the fact that we at TrenchCoat Productions/Studios have parted ways with TinyClown Games due to creative differences. As such, we are no longer affiliated with the company or the creator in any way. We have asked the creator to remove the old link off itchio, gamejolt, and newgrounds but nothing has been done on his end to remove them. I had admin access to the itchio version so I was able to private/disable it on my end but that is all I can do!

This means that any copies of the game other than the one attached to THIS ACCOUNT are no longer official and do not have credits that currently represent the new members of our team accurately! (Including my lovely new programmers!)

Please be advised that any other copies of the game do not represent me or my team and that they will not be updated with new chapters!

Due to the studios parting ways, and an update for chapter 1, we DID unfortunately have to reprogram from scratch but it did thankfully give us the opportunity to fix a few bugs and add some lovely new cut scene art that I'm so glad people are enjoying!

That all being said, the new OFFICIAL release for journal 2 (chapter 2 of 3) will be November 24th 2024!

What can you expect? 

1.) A voice acting patch for chapter 1 along with a bug fix for the plain text.

2.) More fabulous art by Rozmaryn, Lune, GingersnapSketches, and myself!

3.) New characters!

4.) New codes to crack!

5.) And of course, a good dose of pitchfork worthy romance (luckily those pitchfork wielders are carrying Stanco brand pitchforks! HA!)

6.) 2 more featured songs by Lilith the Lairieux!

We here at TrechCoat and the Stantastic Team  have truly been working hard these past few weeks to make your playing experience absolutely Stantastic and we appreciate your patience as a new indie team!
